A team consists of people with complementary skills, who are committed to a common purpose, share performance goals, and adopt an approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.” – Katzenbach, J. & Smith D.*
Our work is building effective teams and working teams through crisis by helping teammates to understand each other, manage conflict and understand barriers to being effective working teams.
While each organization has its own unique culture, teams form and can be improved using the proven models and frameworks that have worked over and over again for Wellesley Partners for over 20 years. We believe teams develop starting with a shared vision or goals, from which roles and management processes are defined. When goals, roles and management process are properly in place, individuals begin to develop positive interpersonal relationships based in trust and commitment to a shared goal.
